Braided water line connectors are flexible hoses with a braided metal exterior, typically stainless steel, that connect a water supply to a fixture like a faucet or toilet. They are a durable and reliable alternative to plastic hoses, offering resistance to kinking and high pressure.

Connection Types:
Faucet supply lines have different connection types. The most common are compression, which uses a nut to tighten the line, and FIP (Female Iron Pipe), which is a threaded connection. Ensure the connectors on the line match the fittings on your faucet and the water supply valve.

Hose Material:
While stainless steel is the most common and durable material for the braided exterior, some lines use polymer. Polymer is more flexible but may be less durable over time.

Hose Length:
Supply lines come in various lengths, from 12 inches to 72 inches or more. Measure the distance between your faucet and the water supply valve to ensure you choose a line that is long enough without being excessively long, which can lead to kinking.

Maintenance and Replacement:
Braided lines are designed to be durable and resist kinking, but they can still fail over time. Check for any visible damage, such as cracks or kinks, and consider replacing lines that are more than a few years old to prevent leaks.
