Premium Quality Gas Connectors

A gas connector is a flexible, corrugated stainless steel hose that connects a gas-powered appliance, such as a stove or dryer, to a gas supply line. It is designed for easy installation and allows for the appliance to be moved for cleaning.

Key considerations:
-
Safety Standards:
We ensure that all of our connectors are certified by recognized organizations such as CSA to meet safety standards such as ANSI Z21.24. This ensures that they are designed to prevent leaks and are safe for use with natural gas or propane.
-
Length and Flexibility:
Choose a length that allows for easy installation without sharp bends or kinks. A corrugated design provides maximum flexibility, making it easier to connect appliances in tight spaces.
-
Material and Coating:
Our connectors are made of stainless steel, which resists corrosion. Some have a yellow coating for extra protection against smoke, chemicals, and UV rays, making them suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
-
Installation:
Our connectors are designed for easy installation without special tools. However, it is important to follow the installation instructions carefully, using Teflon tape on threaded connections to ensure a tight seal.

Gas connector sizes vary based on the appliance, typically ranging from 3/8 to 2 inches for residential use, with common sizes including 3/8", 1/2", and 3/4". To find the correct size, measure the distance between the gas valve and the appliance, then determine the specific connector and fitting types (e.g., MIP, FIP, flare) required by matching the existing valve and appliance fittings.
Common connector sizes
-
3/8-inch: Often used for appliances like gas dryers.
-
1/2-inch: A very common size for gas valves and many appliances.
-
3/4-inch: Another frequent size for gas valves in homes, sometimes considered a minimum size for modern boilers.
-
1-inch and 1-1/4-inch: Can be used for larger applications.
